Legal Basis: Court Fees are determined according to Section 69 of the National Civil Procedure Code 2017 of Nepal.
Who Pays: Initially paid by the claimant, but the losing party may be ordered to reimburse the winner.
Payment Method: Court fees must be paid in cash. No other form of security is accepted.
Payment Timing: Usually paid at case registration, but may be deferred until final judgment for financial hardship cases.
